WHAT WEEK?

18



HOW BIG IS THE BABY?

Size of a grapefruit (about 15.3cm / weighing 240g)


WHATS NEW THIS WEEK?

Heart burn!!! And reflux. Like I’ve never had before. It’s worse when i eat rich/spicy thing and I lie down. So when it comes at night I try sit up more.


Sore lower back!! It’s such a bad pain and it’s also in my hips. My stomach is also aching and gets round ligament pain and what feels like period-like cramps - it must be my uterus growing. It feels like it’s stretching and it’s itchy. Just can’t get comfortable at night🙈


Need to wee so much at night!


Fuzzy hair on tummy.


Leg cramping!


I can feel my heartbeat in my tummy in morning. And I can feel I have more blood flow in body.


Itchiness all over and feeling lightheaded fatigued and way hungrier!


MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT

Really bad eating week this week. Had no energy and didn’t feel like any food except junk. Besides forcing myself some less healthy food choices. I did get very hungry at times. But the morning sickness was still there. . . Just a little more mild, and the mornings, before I eat.


Bloating and abdominal itchiness.


Pregnancy brain - it’s a real thing.


MOST EXCITING MOMENT

The hardness/bump is moving higher up my tummy. And I’m so excited to almost be half way.


I saw my oldest friend who was visiting from the UK, one of my best friends! It made me so happy! Especially because she was the first friend I had seen in a while because of Covid and our isolation. She brought the baby such a cute present, and it’s so exciting collecting little things for the baby and slowly building up some things.

It was the highlight of my week seeing her and I got to ask her to be the godmother which was so special💕




STARTING WEIGHT?

59kg


CURRENT WEIGHT?

59.8kg


EXERCISE?

Not much. I’ve been really tired and the weather has been miserable, raining a lot so I’ve been giving into my body and being lazy and I’ve also been busy painting commissions.


MEALS?

Full on started eating dairy again! Craving it and my body needs it. Cheese, yoghurt, ice cream etc. I think babe needs it

Been way more hungry especially at night.

Sushi. Curry. McDonalds chips. Potatoes. Sugar.


FOOD AVERSIONS?

Meat. Even chicken.


CRAVINGS?

Citrus

Ice

Iced water

Oranges 🍊 and orange juice

pineapple.

Sugary things

Jelly again.

Cheese and Tomato sandwiches/crackers (so random)

A KFC burger ? (Which I haven’t had since I was 12)


Sometimes I get a craving and its really urgent but passes quickly and if I don’t eat in that small window I don’t feel like it anymore.


REFLECTIONS?

Towards end of of the week I felt baby move a lot more. More movement. Way more pronounced especially when lying on my back / eating sugar


Been working on art commissions

And art for the baby which was fun. My dear friend is planning me a baby show hopefully covid will allow it.


I’ve been feeling more anxious with things going on and just need to calm down and slow down. That’s the secret to life for me.

Just to slow down.
