Week 21 Pregnancy Vlog


WHAT WEEK?

21


HOW BIG IS THE BABY?

Size of a large banana šŸŒ (about 28cm / weighing about 400g)


WHATS NEW THIS WEEK?

Braxton hicks?? My tummy is getting really tight and hard and kind of sore and uncomfortable and it sometimes happens a few times a day but only in one spot like a hard ball

It comes and goes!


Cracked nipples?

Swollen face?šŸ™ˆ

I feel really hungry and tired all the time!



MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT

I feel really moody and emotional and very unlike myself. I feel so out of myself mentally at the moment. I am grumpy and just react very emotionally and rashly to things at the moment. This week was tough for me as I really just felt really depressed... and down and tired and lethargic. Very OCD and been eating a lot of shit at night. Need to just go to sleep at nights and get the rest my body needs. But Iā€™m just feeling out of it this week. I want to change it but itā€™s also okay and I am trying to be patient with myself and my body and all the changes going on. Will speak to doc about all Iā€™m feeling.


Headaches and tense neck


MOST EXCITING MOMENT

Not much this week. I guess resting?

5 months in and Im still at that awkward in between phase where I just look plump and bloated and still donā€™t really look pregnant. But each week that passes the bump really does get more and more preggy looking. I must say I definitely am FEELING very pregnant this weekšŸ™ˆ my bum and thighs are also growing along with my bumpšŸ™ˆšŸ˜‰


STARTING WEIGHT?

59kg


CURRENT WEIGHT?

I didnā€™t actually weigh myself this week (maybe been avoiding it? Haha) but I can definitely tell Iā€™ve been packing on the poundsšŸ™ˆ


EXERCISE?

Not much this week


MEALS?

We had a cheese fondue with some friends. I had heart burn and mucus for a while after but it was so goodšŸ¤£

Loads of toast with cream cheese and salmon and just loads of bread in general and carbs.

Also had some Easter eggs and chocolate!



FOOD AVERSIONS?

Pretty much everything. Thereā€™s nothing I really feel like.


CRAVINGS?

Ginger ale

Soda water

Ice

Water

Oranges

Orange juice

Green smoothies


REFLECTIONS?

I feel like I could sleep for years and go on a retreat at the moment šŸ¤£ Iā€™m just so tired and feel like I have so much to do. My brain is tired. Want to feel better so I can connect with baby again more deeply and be more present.

Feel like my bum and thighs are growing as well as my belly... and oh hello cellulite šŸ˜‰ all completely normal and natural things during pregnancy. Especially due to all the oestrogen. But I would like to focus a bit more on toning and doing some pilates. If I am blessed with the energy. I will try to cultivate itšŸ™šŸ»
