Week 9 Pregnancy Vlog
WHAT WEEK?

HOW BIG IS THE BABY?
Size of a large cherry š (about 3.1 / 4g)
WHATS NEW THIS WEEK?
Vomiting.
And my skin has really broken out on my face with loads of little pimples (and high is so new to me).
I also bought a few baby clothes yay!š¬š¬š¬ it was so surreal.
And I bought some wool to start crocheting a blanket
MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT
Iāve had a lot of IBS and the cravings have really made my stomach sore as I havenāt been eating much dairy throughout and it was a bit of an overload. Also, the mood swings have been quite frustrating.
MOST EXCITING MOMENT
Iām so excited about everything I just canāt wait to meet and hold my baby.
STARTING WEIGHT?
59kg
CURRENT WEIGHT?
56.3
EXERCISE?
Not much. Just walks at the park with the dogs and Trav.
MEALS?
My appetite has really come back and Iām starting to taste things more now.
I had a lot of bread (not too into salad at the moment) Iāve had anchovie toast (pic below) which was great with looooads of pickled onions
I also had a lot of ice cream (got a pistachio ice cream cone š¦ which was amazing)
Also had an entire pizza one evening.
But for someone who hasnāt been eating any dairy, to go to all the pizza and ice cream, itās reallly upset my stomach.
I really feel like chicken noodle soup.
Chocolate croissants.
FOOD AVERSIONS?
Still red meat, dairy, any rich foods...
CRAVINGS?
Salmon cream cheese bagels š„Æ lots of bagels!š
ALL THE SWEET TGINGS... which is new.
Ice lollies! Lotsš¤£ especially chocolate ice creams.
My body doesnāt really like the sugar though because I canāt sleep well afterwards. But Ahh, cravings š
Mac n cheese
Ooh and also Doughnuts š craving so many sweet stuff.... OH how the tables have turned haha!
Ooh and pickled onions!!!
I really have gotten a lot of my taste backšš¤£

Sooo many cravings now but I canāt physically eat as much as I used to without feeling full of bloated š
REFLECTIONS?
My baby has already taught me so much and healed me from within.
I used to have a bit of disordered eating, and Iād binge and restrict, and now with my baby in mind, I eat when Iām hungry, I stop when Iām full, I eat what Iām craving and I feel so free. I am obviously trying to be healthy but itās no longer for me, itās for this babe that I already love more than myself, more than anything. I eat and sleep, and live more intuitively.
If I just listen.... I canāt almost hear what the baby is saying, communicating, just through being. I can feel it. I can feel the presence and it has already forever changed me.
I always thought I understood pregnancy, but I donāt think you can ever comprehend what itās like until you have a soul growing inside of you. I feel so lucky.
This baby feels so a part of me already. I am so protective, and so excited. I am just trying to soak up every moment and really stay present through it all.
